On the dreadful day 9/11,

So many souls left to heaven,

Were was god on that faithful day,

Were was he to stand in the way,

Why wasn’t he there,

To stop the attack,

Why weren’t we aware,

That he’d turned his back,

But what had happened cannot be undone,

The web of eternity had already been spun,

If death is not really the end

Then why did the rules so quickly bend,

And why were the lives that had been lost,

Been concealed by the dust,

But the friends we have gained,

Weren’t all in vain,

So as the war ends,

We still remember our friends,

So I guess the real question is why,

Why did those people have to die…
